Namaskar Dear Ones,
I don't know about you, but I am really, really enjoying taking and teaching yoga in the safety of my own home. No commute. No carbon footprint.
I use the Zoom platform. I recommend downloading the Zoom App prior to the class. You just have to open it up before we start and type in the meeting ID and password.
I highly recommend using a computer. A laptop will give you the most versatility and be much easier for you to see, move around, and navigate. But a tablet (like an iPad) works second best, and your phone will work too--it's just more challenging to see and navigate. If you have trouble with the audio or video, make sure you close all the other open Apps on your device. Other people using internet (especially if they are streaming) in your home can also affect the quality of what you see and hear.
Please note, class times are in Pacific Standard time.
I would like you to have at least 2 blankets (or thick beach towels work well), a strap (or belt, or even the strap from your robe works well), a chair (it doesn't have to be a yoga chair, a dining room chair works too), and a block or two (if you don't have a block, you can fold a towel or blanket up or even use two large cans from you pantry. Two rolls of TP work nicely too! No joke!). You can also make a bolster with a blanket wrapped around two paper towel rolls. If you can't acquire any of these things, don't worry I can give you alternatives.
Please feel free to share this information with your loved ones that need a yoga class.
